At the end of the day, being a creator is a very special task. Its not something you really choose to do but more something you’re chosen for. -MaestroKnows
Comin straight out of the BK Brooklyn, this dude is taking us to a whole new level. The Alchemist is going hard with the beats on this as well. Anyhow, peep game.

Although to some, the name Scott Schuman doesnt ring a bell; you may be familiar with his natural talent to scope out high end and innovative fashion amongst the general public through his famous blog The Sartorialist.
A couple shots from his site, he shows a prime example of how style and grace has no age.
You'll be amazed at some of the shots he takes...but enough here, go and check it out already.
and for those wondering what to get me for Christmas =)
thank you in advance.

“…There’s value in failure, because I think everybody’s leaving school kind of with a mind-set that, “Oh, I’m going out and I have to succeed. You have to succeed.” And if they hit a failure it has the potential to, you know, de-motivate them, and push them in a bad direction. But, if they can embrace and celebrate their failure, it kind of gives them a totally different outlook on what they are doing.
I think also the way the world is changing today, particularly when somebody leaves with a degree and they then go look for a work spot where they can really, you know, fit in: “This situation fits me very well.” And I think I would encourage them — rather than try to fit in somewhere — to find someplace where they can craft the environment, the job and the situation — basically, make it fit you.”

We just recruited Adam to the team for marketing and Pudge has been my partner in crime on the design team awhile back. Theyre definitely awesome at their craft so you can say its a smart move on our part.
When an entity is absent in the limelight and incognito....don't ever confuse this as giving up but rather becoming bigger than they ever were.
Big things are coming up for EK5. But you'll have to see it to believe it i guess.

When it comes to this video, i really dont know what to say. ill leave the comments to you.

Tune in live when EK5 and EL PREZ and the FCC get featured on MYSPACE MUSIC and discuss the song, the movement and the collabo shirt (currently being preordered). You can also listen to justpudge and erok choke when they answer questions during the interview. I believe Erok's voice cracks when he gets nervous, but you'll have to tune in to DJBUDDYTV.COM to find out.

Floss Angeles" features fellow FCC rappers Convinced, Dale Danja, DNEZ, Chris Focus, and C-San, who along with El Prez, act as "guides" for these Hip hop tourists...consider it "how to survive in south central" 09!
To commemorate the video release, Ek5obition Clothing will relase a Limited Edition "Floss Angeles" T-shirt with the launch of their online store August 2009. Check Ek5obition.com and Eazeest.com for more info.

Just add this to the thousands of reasons why Japan is such a "think outside the box" type of country. Nothing can stand in their way when it comes to provoking creativity and pushing the envelope to spark the mind. A simple walk in the park can bring ones fondest child hood memories. standing on the grounds of Shiokaze Park in Tokyo, Odaiba is a 59 foot / 18 meters tall 1/1 full scale GUNDAMN statue (RX-78-2) from the early 80's Anime hit series. Really you gotta admit, even if your not a robot/anime fan, this has got to be one of the coolest f*cking things you'll ever see.
Check out the clip for a sized scale point of view of this badboy.

A typical day at the 3Sixteen camp, for all you non indy company owners out there. this is the life.
Shotouts to Andrew and Johan who are one of the most humble and down to earth people ive met. Their advice has definitely contributed to getting EK5 where it is. From streetwear tees to highend ties, their transition was smoother than a baby's bottom. I think ive found my new classy brand.

A quick glance at our upcoming collabo project. Although its just a mockup layout, its a potential final product. Lathon whos affiliated with Critical Beatdown and also a sales rep for EK5, suggested to me the other night to put "no requests" on the back, since djs always get requests from drunk crowdmovers/club goers on a daily basis. I think the it fits the collab just fine. Some of you kiddies may recognize the model from that one online shop.
ill keep you posted.
