If people are curious to how the design team works on upcoming projects for EK5, trust me its far from what you think a typical brainstorming session should actually go. I just had to show how us great minds think about unorthodox ideas for our new hats coming out...haha.

So I was sitting at home watching the tube and flipped to MTV's Fantasy Factory which is Rob Dyrdek's new show and was trippin out when I saw one of his homies was rockin our JuggerNot tee from our spring/summer 07 line.



I managed to get some screenshots from the episode.



Im actually pissed because I dont even have that shirt anymore and that was a dope design...frek.

I had recently stumbled upon Peap's (aka Samapeap Tarr) work online and was greatly blown away by his hand control. Hailing all the way from Auckland, New Zeland; Peap whose cultural background has influenced him and his emotions to create his signature sinister yet tranquil works of art.



Widely known for his use of bold black ink on a blank white medium, his art exists in a world where lightness and darkness battle, yet coexist in the same breath to balance each other and contrast against each other.

Unfortunately, this will most likely be my favorite shirt of the year. And by unfortunately its due to Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey's battle against Lupus, the same illness that took her "Dilla" away. After reading a heartbreaking article, Parra joins forces with Stones Throw for limited run of these tees. 100% of the profits will be going to Ma Dukes.
